The MESA Kickoff Scavenger Hunt is a fun, non-competitive event for students and families to reconnect with MESA and our Pacific campus after a year online! Families are invited on Saturday, August 28th to come together to work through a series of small engineering challenges (such as building a small catapult) to receive vouchers for an awesome snow cone stand that we will have at the event. We estimate that the scavenger hunt will take approximately 1 hour for each family. Elementary/Middle School, High School and College student scavenger hunt start times will be staggered as listed below.
Students may still participate if they are not registered, but only registered participants will receive a MESA baseball cap.
Elementary/Middle School Students
Who: All 6th-8th grade students and their families are invited to participate in this event! You will be able to register for the MESA program at check-in.
When: Between 9:30am and 12:00 pm on Saturday August 28th.
Where: Event check in will outside near Burns Tower at University of the Pacific (https://goo.gl/maps/WQCSSgoNxLbFvs1n6).
As elementary/middle school students MUST attend this event with their families or another guardian/adult no permission slips will be required for MS participants. The scavenger hunt will take approximately 1 hour to complete and families will be able to receive vouchers for snow cones!
All participants must wear a face mask that covers both their nose and mouth.

No permission slips or forms are necessary although you will be able to enroll in the MESA University program at the event! Your families are also welcome.
