Cargo Gliders
Cargo Gliders will take place in person for Pacific MESA Day and Regional MESA Day.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have participated in Gliders in the past, the competition has changed for this year.
Instead of carrying ping pong balls, gliders will carry hexnuts. Both Middle and High school will have the goal of launching their glider over an obstacle to gain the furthest distance, while carrying the minimum amount of hexnuts for their grade level.
Middle School: must carry a minimum of 2 hexnuts
High School: must carry a minimum of 10 hexnuts
There is no maximum amount of hexnuts. The launching table will now also be angled upwards.
Please read the rules for details!
