Important MESA Day Dates
- Wednesday January 28th - Final Registration and attendance confirmation due to your MESA advisor.
- Friday January 30th - Advisors must submit final registration to Pacific MESA by this date.
- Friday February 13th - Engineering Lab Reports are due!
- Lab Reports are required for: Moon Base, Cargo Glider, and MESA Machine
- Turn your digital or paper notebooks in to your advisor.
- Advisors: please upload your notebooks into the Pacific MESA Advisor Drive folder below. Go to the appropriate competition folder, then find your school. Make sure you have access to upload, otherwise contact Rose and Jonathan for access: submission link will be here once available
- You can scan in paper notebooks for students
- MUST follow the naming convention: Competition Name_School Name_Grade Level_Student Names
- Saturday February 14th - Final date to complete 90% of the Coding Solutions competition precourse
- Thursday, February 19th - NEDC Day at UOP at the Fletcher Jones Foundation Makerspace.
- Middle school check-in starts at 3:30 pm
- High School starts check-in at 4:00 pm
- Note: Students do not need to leave school early to arrive at the check-in times, this is just when we will open registration. Teams will be called for their Technical Interviews in order of arrival.
- If you need us to print your posters, you must submit them to us by February 13th!
- Saturday February 21st Virtual MESA Day (See below in blue for links) *will be posted once available
- Math Escape Event - 9am-11am
- Coding Event - 11:15am-12:15pm

MESA Day Walkthrough
- Students are dropped off at the corner of Brubeck and Stagg Way.
- Students go to registration at DUC lawn to the table with their school name to get their namebadge and t-shirt and to be checked-in as present. Breakfast snacks will be available.
- Students immediately go to their competition locations to check-in and drop off their projects.
- Students go to the DUC Ballroom for the welcome ceremony.
- After the welcome, students check their namebadge schedule and report to their session.
- If students don’t have a competition for that session, they should go to the Sponge Activities area at Anderson Hall President’s and Regent’s Room
- Students should not be wandering around campus without a teacher
- After session 2, students will go to the DUC lawn for lunch (desserts for HS).
- Students can eat their lunch outside on the lawn or can sit inside the DUC ballroom. They should also vote for college posters at this time.
- Awards will take place after lunch (desserts for HS), then students will be excused for the day.
