MESA Day Goals and Code of Conduct
MESA Day is a fun day for students to test the STEM projects they've been working on all year. Students get to practice applying STEM principles to individual and team competitions, developing and mastering these skills through their time in MESA.
Students are encouraged and motivated to excel, problem solve, think critically, and persevere through rigorous academic competitions that foster creativity, collaboration, and communication skills.
MESA Code of Conduct
The University of the Pacific has been a home for the Pacific MESA Program for over 30 years. As a part of the Pacific MESA Program, students, teachers, and staff should always conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner.

- Keep our campus clean! There are trash cans all over campus, please help us to keep the campus clean. Dispose of your trash appropriately. If you see trash, pick it up and bring it to a trash can.
- Respect others! MESA Day is a competition, but like all competitions competitors are expected to conduct themselves with good sportsmanship. We are here to lift each other up, even if it is your competitor! MESA is a community and our overall goal is for everyone who participates to have a great day and be empowered to continue to explore their passions, even if that is not in STEM.
- If you are heard putting someone down or acting inappropriately, your teacher will be notified.
- Students must stay on campus, in MESA Day areas. Students should not be wandering around campus without a teacher unless on their way to an activity locaiton.
- Students should only be entering buildings that are associated with the MESA Day competitions.
- Most of all, have fun today!!!!
